Ajinkya Rahane got out early in the session but it was Jadeja who actually turned the momentum towards India quickly with his cameo of 50 runs. Kohli declared India's inning at 377 for five just after Jadeja completed his fifty.
Session 1:India have extended their lead beyond 300 at Lunch on day 4 of Kanpur Test. At Lunch, India were 252 for 4 and the way they are playing now it doesn't seem that they are any hurry of declaring the inning. India started the day very cautiously and hit the first boundary in the seventh over of the day. The pitch was doing a bit for the spinners but at time it seem that batsmen were extra cautious. Both overnight batsmen missed on century and got out. Vijay was dismissed by Santner and it brought Indian skipper Virat Kohli on crease. But he didn't look comfortable in the middle and kept miss hitting the ball. He miss timed a pull, edged a drive and had a close leg before shout. At last he was caught by Ish Sodhi at mid wicket in trying to sweep. Pujara was batting well but in a run of play he edged one to first slip to be caught by Ross Taylor off Sodhi. After that Rahane and Rohit Sharma has safely negotiated the remaining over before lunch. Now India has taken the overall lead of 308 runs.
